Brief on The Women’s Coalition $500M Class-Action Lawsuit Against California Family Courts

The Women’s Coalition (TWC) is preparing a $500 million class-action lawsuit, alleging systemic discrimination against women in California Family Courts. The lawsuit is on behalf of mothers who reported abuse by the father of themselves or their children and subsequently lost custody or visitation rights. TWC plans to expand the lawsuit to other states and countries in the future.
Plaintiffs:
Class Members: Mothers fitting the above criteria are invited to join the lawsuit by completing a Class Member form.
Class Representatives: Selected Class Members who provide case details and possibly testify. Class Reps may receive a larger portion of the settlement.
Relief Requested:
Monetary: $500 million in damages.
Injunctive: Right to a new trial with an impartial judge and jury for current cases.
Declaratory: Official recognition of discrimination and mistreatment of women in Family Court.
Causes of Action:The lawsuit includes 5 causes of action citing violations of state, federal, and international laws. Further details and defendant names will be disclosed later.
Interested parties can join by completing forms based on their case location (California, other U.S. states, or other countries). All names are confidential unless permission is granted for disclosure.
